AI Workshop for November 2010

Midwest Boer Goat Breeders Club is proud to announce we are offering an Artificial Insemination (AI) Clinic with BIO-Genics, LTD of Salmon, Idaho.  It has taken two years to establish this workshop so we hope you can participate.  You will need to provide everything necessary for your animals.  If you need information on how to cycle the does please email:  www.cwwade@hotmail.com.

The seminar is two days in length from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 14 & Monday, November 15.  The website http://www.biogenicsltd.com/clinics.html gives a great overview of what you will be learning each day. At the end of the second day of training you may Artificially Inseminate goats you have cycled and want to breed.  This workshop is jam packed with information and I have been told there are people who have attended the workshop twice because there is so much information presented.

The workshop will be held at ISU Farm, 25578 ISU Farm Lane in Lexington, IL.  We may have only a MAXIMUM of 14 persons participating in the workshop.   We still have some spaces available for the workshop.  The cost is $125.00 per person.  The fee includes beverages, snacks and lunch each day. I am very familiar with this area and if you need information or have questions about motels, restaurants, or site seeing in the area, please ask.  Although Lexington is a small community it is just north east of Bloomington/Normal.  We would love to share what this area has to offer.

As you visit shows this summer and talk with other breeders, ask them if they have attended this workshop and what they learned.  We have heard only positive comments about BIO-Genics, LTD and are very excited to have them presenting here in Illinois.  P.S.  BIO-Genics is not doing a buck collection along with the workshop.  If you are interested in their buck collections please see their website and call to see if they, the breeder or club, providing the collection has space for buck(s).
